Infra as Code Security is now part of the
GitGuardian platform. Infra as Code Security gives total visibility
into over 100 of the most common infrastructure as code misconfigurations. Users leveraging ggshield, our CLI, have been
able to manually scan for issues for some time. GitGuardian can now automatically scan connected
GitHub or GitLab repositories for IaC template files like Terraform and CloudFormation and
alert you about any misconfigurations affecting your
AWS, Azure, and GCP deployments. or your Kubernetes clusters or Docker containers. The platform is looking for Networking issues,
data storage settings problems, permissions configuration typos, and of course, for secrets
in your IaC setup. In the GitGuardian Dashboard you will find
a new icon for IAC Clicking on it will open your Infra as Code
Security dashboard, giving you instant insight to issues discovered
and, just like with secrets detection incidents, you will get a detailed view of each incident,
enriched with vital information such as the vulnerability description, potential impact,
complexity, category, and info about any data exposure. You can finally get a handle on your most
critical IaC issues from one dashboard. All you need is a GitGuardian account. If you’re already a customer of the GitGuardian
platform, you can get these new enhancements for free during our beta phase by joining
our waitlist, just click on the IaC icon to get started.
